On this day 2 years ago Drs told me some stuff that we generally do not get to be told every day. As my physical condition worsened by the day and eventually by the hour I found myself appreciating just how precious and how short life is.
Yeah sure we hear this kind of thing in passing whether hearing it in conversation or whatever it may be but why is it that so many of us continue to take so much in life for granted?
I have mentioned the overwhelming sense of calm that I experienced during my worst days of that time in my life. Accepting that life could end at any moment is really quite a remarkable experience and is most definitely worth sharing with others.
Why do we spend so much time thinking about such trivial crap of everyday life?
Why did I survive to live another day when so many others do not?
There are so many questions that I have been left to ask that I believe it is time to gather those thoughts and write them in the form of a book.
In the today's incredibly fast pace of life with everyone being expected to be connected 24 hours per day 7 days per week via mobile phones and social media it is no surprise that we have lost our way in the world and so many of us have seemingly forgotten what is really important to us.
Take a moment today to reflect on what really matters to you.
