The road got bumpier, the challenges greater.... and then 2020 happened!

My last enty on this blogspot was written in 2018! Wow, it's hard to believe we are now in 2021! So much has happened since that last entry. I have been meaning to write since then but really had to take some time out.

In that last entry I was reminded of our children's love for this planet, indeed I was reminded of just how much I love and miss my children.

In the days ahead I will be spending some time typing and will soon pluck up the courage to record some video messages so that it may encourage, and if anything, provide some words of hope.

Its hard to know where to begin so I will take some time to share some thoughts.

Wherever you are in the world today I hope you are safe and well.

I would like to begin a podcast series and have thought about "Jeff Price & Friends" This was the name of the radio programme I produced and presented on our first Children's radio station , Pearl Fm. When thinking about a name for that programme I really wanted it to have a friendly approach and to ensure that guests on the show would feel comfortable.

Fast forward to January 2021 I feel it is about time to get cracking on this.

If you would like to feature on this podcast please do send an email to: jeffpricemedia@gmail.com

And now its time to practise typing again.

Earthday 2018 - our children have taken the lead.

Earth day 2018 - Earth the place we call home.

A few days ago our 5 year old son burst in to tears. He was devastated by the way we have mistreated and polluted this beautiful planet. His reaction was a major wake u call and I could not help saying to myself 'what if we call reacted this way and felt as passionate about protecting our home.'

Several years ago our daughter, when she was also just 5 years young, joined me on my radio chat show and she uttered a few very powerful words and reminded the audience that 'Each time they wound their car window down and threw a piece of litter to the ground that they were destroying the Earth.' Her words had a profound effect on people listening that day.

Our children are pretty disgusted with us adults right now, and so they should be.

It is about time that Governments around the world start taking notice of our youth, and quite possibly it is time for a massive global change in management.

Quite possible too many governments of the world today are led by old, out of touch and ignorant individuals.

What can I do to improve my blog?

Thank you for taking a moment to browse here.

On this day last year I was forced to take a sabbatical from our children's radio mission.
As part of my rehabilitation and a way to get my brain recharged I was encouraged to write again.
It has been a tremendous challenge and one that I have taken on with vigour and a new lease of life.

How can I improve the blog experience? The best thing I can is ask YOU !

What would you like to see more or less of on my blog? Your opinion is important to me.

Would you like to read more about the radio experience?

What can I do to improve the Hydrocephalus awareness blog?

Why does it take a near death experience to appreciate this amazing thing called LIFE

On this day 2 years ago Drs told me some stuff that we generally do not get to be told every day. As my physical condition worsened by the day and eventually by the hour I found myself appreciating just how precious and how short life is.

Yeah sure we hear this kind of thing in passing whether  hearing it in conversation or whatever it may be but why is it that so many of us continue to take so much in life for granted?

I have mentioned the overwhelming sense of calm that I experienced during my worst days of that time in my life. Accepting that life could end at any moment is really quite a remarkable experience and is most definitely worth sharing with others.

Why do we spend so much time thinking about such trivial crap of everyday life?

Why did I survive to live another day when so many others do not?

There are so many questions that I have been left to ask  that I believe it is time to gather those thoughts and write them in the form of a book.

In the today's incredibly fast pace of life with everyone being expected to be connected 24 hours per day 7 days per week via mobile phones and social media it is no surprise that we have lost our way in the world and so many of us have seemingly forgotten what is really important to us.

Take a moment today to reflect on what really matters to you.

My first video message of 2018

I want to help you succeed as I get back in to the driving seat of work life.

The future is going to be a tremendous challenge for jobseekers as A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) takes centre stage and takes jobs.

Your ability to communicate will be key to your success.

Artificial Intelligence has been the number 1 topic for Government summits in Davos and Dubai and is making headlines around the world every day.

The global impact on jobs of the future has taken a seismic shift and this subject should be the topic of conversation in households the world over.

Are you ready for the robots?
